Frankfort, Kentucky is the Capital of Kentucky, It is one of the smallest state capitals in the United States and is right on the Kentucky River. Frankfort is in the heart of Kentucky between Lexington and Louisville. Come on the trolley and visit all of Frankfort, the antique shops, the quaint downtown strip, Daniel Boone's Grave and much more.

The city of Frankfort is added an additional 200 feet of free city dock on the East bank 1/2 mile up-stream from Lock 4, which is right in front of the Downtown area to visit, shop, or eat. We also have some dock-space at the Frankfort Boat Club dock, some spaces have electricity and others don't, and it is a first come first served basis. We also have gasoline at the Frankfort Boat Club dock and offer discounted gas for all Ohio River boaters.

Buffalo Trace

Downtown Trolley Runs

April 3rd to October 27 from 10 am to 2:30 pm from Tuesday through Saturday. Not only is the Trolley rides a great way to see Frankfort and enjoying the ride, it is completely FREE!

4th of July Fireworks

Buffalo Trace Distillery

Want to visit the Bourbon capital of the world. Start by boating to Frankfort and visit the local distillaries. Go to surrounding towns and explore the bourbon Kentucky. Come visit Buffalo Trace for a tour. For groups greater than 10 people, Buffalo Trace will pick up your group and give a tour.

Daniel Boone's Grave

Come visit the grave of Daniel Boone. Daniel Boone's Grave is located on the top of Frankfort overlooking the beautiful view of river and downtown area.
